Blowing Rocks is a nature preserve with a unique feature on the Florida east coast which is mostly sand beaches. A short stretch of the beach is rocky and the waves have worn holes and cracks in the rocks. When wave hit them, the water blows through them. There doesn't seem to be as many cracks and holes for water to shoot through as there used to be. Also the preserve goes from the beach to the intracoastal waterway so that there is no development on either side of the road for a bit, except for the preserve's visitor center and parking.
To see the waves hitting the rocks you have to go at high tide. This visit to blowing rocks was at one of the larger high tides. Here's two photos of the features focuses the water and has it shoot through or up.
Water Coming Up Through a Crack
There is a Hole in the Middle That Water Shoots Through
This video start with water shooting up through one of the holes in the rocks. It also show waves crashing against the rocks and sometimes through them.
One of my cameras has issues with draining its battery, so I had to use the cell phone camera for some stills. Some videos I took while also taking videos with it came out in 4:3 format so they ended up in a separate video.
Even where the water does shoot up through something, the waves crash against the rocks is pretty cool.
